A Winter Romance on the Water
Designed to feel timeless yet modern, the shoot blended rich cranberry tones with blush accents, layered metals, and organic greenery. Every detail was intentionally chosen to feel elevated but lived in, luxurious yet warm. From the ceremony design to the final moments on the lake, the day unfolded like a love story meant to be felt, not just seen.
On December 1st, a quiet winter day on Lake Lanier set the stage for a styled shoot that felt intimate, cinematic, and deeply romantic. With overcast skies, crisp air, and a calm stillness on the water, the setting invited a softer kind of beauty. One that leaned into texture, movement, and emotion rather than perfection.

Every detail was intentionally chosen to feel elevated but lived in, luxurious yet warm. Produced by Atlanta Wedding Extravaganza, the shoot brought together an incredible team of creatives to showcase what is possible when thoughtful design meets meaningful collaboration.
A Thoughtfully Curated Vision

The creative direction and full design concept were brought to life by Vows and Visions, who curated a cohesive vision rooted in romance and refined elegance. Deep cranberry tones were softened with blush hues and balanced with organic greenery, creating a palette that felt rich without overpowering the natural surroundings.
The ceremony featured a floral lined aisle layered with textured blooms, candlelight, lanterns, and a bold statement runner that grounded the entire color story. Lush florals by CM Production ATL framed the space with movement and depth, while the custom aisle runner by Atlanta Dance Floors added a striking foundation to the ceremony design.

For the reception, the vision continued with warm wood tables, velvet napkins, brass flatware, and layered vintage elements. Furniture rentals by Quest Events completed the space, creating a setting that felt both intentional and inviting. Every element worked together seamlessly, blending timeless elegance with modern charm.
A Cake That Commands Attention

The wedding cake was nothing short of a centerpiece. Created by Karma Confections, the three tier fondant cake featured ornate gold baroque detailing that immediately drew the eye. A clear middle tier filled with softly glowing fairy lights gave the illusion of the cake floating, adding an unexpected magical element.
Sugar florals in rich reds, blush pinks, and creamy whites cascaded down the tiers, paired with subtle greenery for balance. The bottom tier was wrapped in dramatic red wafer paper ruffles, adding depth, movement, and a bold pop of color. It was regal, romantic, and unapologetically artistic.
Soft Glam Beauty
The beauty look was intentionally soft and romantic. Demi Muse Artistry focused on luminous skin, defined brows, and blush as the star of the look, finished with glossy lips for a fresh, modern feel. Hair styling by Tulle Lux Hair complemented the makeup with effortless, elegant styling that moved beautifully in the winter breeze.

The bridal look was completed with a gown from Sure Bride that felt timeless yet fashion forward, perfectly suited for the moody winter setting and romantic design.
Vintage Tables with Global Charm

The tabletop design was elevated with vintage fine bone china sourced from Bavaria. The Vintage Dish Girl provided layered place settings, goblets, and gold flatware that added character and history to the tables. Each piece felt curated rather than styled, creating a sense of timelessness that grounded the modern design elements.
Paper Details with Old World Romance

White Dog Paper brought the baroque romance to life through custom stationery and paper goods. The invitation suite featured a hand drawn crest, custom printed details card, white ink envelopes with white ink calligraphy, a baroque floral envelope liner, and a die cut rose cardstock wrap tied with blush velvet ribbon.
Table numbers and menus followed the same design language, with die cut oval table numbers displayed on gold stands and circular menus that felt both elegant and intentional. Every paper detail felt like an heirloom piece designed to be kept, not discarded.
A Grand Moment on the Water

Hickory Wedding Boat provided their antique wooden boat, built in 1911 and rich with history. Originally used as a commuter vessel in New York, Hickory now offers couples a grand departure experience unlike any other.
The seating allowed photographers, videographers, and content creators to capture every angle comfortably. The boat itself created a natural sense of adventure and intimacy, offering a luxurious moment that felt both nostalgic and unforgettable.
A Toast to Celebration

Addison James Collective brought their signature Champagne Bubbly Bar to the shoot, styled with fresh florals, real stemware, and their iconic Cheers engraving monogrammed in two places. The cart added an elevated celebratory element, creating beautiful photo moments while reinforcing the feeling of romance and refinement.
Jewelry That Tells a Story

The jewelry selections added subtle brilliance and timeless luxury. Freshwater pearl drop earrings with floral diamond accents paired effortlessly with a delicate pearl necklace stationed with diamonds along a 16 inch chain. A stackable diamond band with an open ended graduated design complemented an oval engagement ring accented with alternating round and marquise diamonds, both designed by Noam Carver.
For a modern masculine touch, the gents band featured a sandpaper finish center with polished edges and a rope accent design by Crown Ring. Each piece felt intentional, elegant, and perfectly suited to the romantic aesthetic of the day.
Capturing the Feeling of the Day

Rocheal Photography Group provided full photography and videography coverage, capturing the story of the day from start to finish. From detailed flatlays and layered textures to movement filled portraits and candid moments, the focus was on emotion and authenticity rather than forced perfection.

The antique wooden boat became the defining moment of the day. The second everyone stepped onboard, the energy shifted. Laughter came easily, shoulders relaxed, and the cold air became part of the story. The soft, overcast light created a moody atmosphere that elevated every frame, while the wind and water added natural movement and depth.

The groom’s look, styled in a suit from Suit Shop, added a modern, polished edge that balanced the romantic design beautifully.
A Story Meant to Be Felt
This styled shoot at Chapel on Lanier was not about perfection or posing. It was about atmosphere, connection, and storytelling. Cold air, moody skies, layered textures, and genuine laughter all came together to create something honest and beautiful.

It was a reminder that romance does not need sunshine to shine. Sometimes, it lives in the quiet moments, the wind on the water, and the warmth created when thoughtful design meets human connection.
