Putting a personal twist on your favorite social media wedding ideas is easy with help from pros. Read the recap of our #YourDreamWedding expert advice session from Atlanta Wedding Extravaganza January 2021.
You've seen your friends' or favorite celebrity weddings all over social. How do you create shareable, spectacular wedding moments? We asked the experts.
How do you translate what you see on social to your wedding concept?
The first thing I ask clients to do is pick just one photo from your boards or bookmarks that most speaks to you or is the clearest image of what you want your wedding to look like. That is your one point of inspiration and everything else you select to accompany it has to connect to that one. It helps you build a cohesive vision. - Wedded Bliss
How do you create post-worthy shots and replicate images you love from social media?
Couples bring in images all the time. We ask them what draws them to those images so we have a list of what they want to see. We don’t try to create an exact replica, but we use it as inspiration. We use shadow, reflections, and different camera positions to get images that really stand out. - Viridian Images
How does your venue help shape a guest experience that is post-worthy?
What feeling do you want guests to come away with? At a brewery or winery, guests will get to taste or create their own experience. If you want a wild dance party, you need to make sure there’s plenty of room for the band, a stage and dance floor. Gardens can have a magical feel that offer many photo opportunities. The important thing is to create an environment that gets guests involved. - Spirited Event Group
How can one venue look completely different or create unique environments for different weddings?

From a Japanese garden to an English garden wedding to indoor/outdoor spaces. There are many different options. Couples love the Skyline Garden and Japanese Garden for photography.
